About Us

Dili is a YC-backed, Series A startup using AI to automate compliance & due diligence for the $10T industrial economy—starting with prevailing wage compliance. Our platform automates compliance and labor analysis for energy, datacenter, infrastructure, and construction projects, helping clients pass audits, maximize federal funding, and keep projects moving.

Dili was founded by Anand Chaturvedi and Brian Fernandez, both ex-Coinbase, who previously built an AI-enabled data room tool for capital markets. After seeing how much friction compliance created in the energy space, they started Dili to remove that friction across all of construction—the energy projects, datacenters, and infrastructure the US is racing to build.

Role Overview

We're hiring a Product Management Intern to work directly with the founders and product team. You'll talk to users, write specs, and ship work that real customers use—this is not a sandboxed side project. It's a good fit if you're early in your career and want to learn how products get built at an early-stage AI startup.

Your First 90 Days

  • 30 days – Learn the product hands-on, sit in on customer calls and team stand-ups, and start triaging incoming customer issues.
  • 60 days – Own part of the triage queue: turn recurring customer pain into well-scoped tickets and specs, and QA new features before they ship.
  • 90 days – Take a feature from customer feedback to spec to launch, and own a research question that informs a real product or compliance decision.

Responsibilities

  • User research – Sit in on customer calls, interview internal teams (CS, Sales, Ops), and turn what you hear into clear problem statements.
  • Spec & document – Draft PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria that engineering and design can run with.
  • Backlog support – Triage incoming requests and bugs, prioritize by impact, and keep the roadmap organized.
  • Feature QA – Test new functionality before release, catch edge cases, and document what's broken.
  • Data & insights – Use SQL to analyze how 100+ construction firms interact with our wage-parity dashboard and identify friction in the onboarding flow.
  • Market research – Track the compliance and AI tooling landscape and brief the team on what matters.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree (any major).
  • Strong analytical skills; comfortable turning ambiguity into structure.
  • Clear, concise writer and communicator.
  • Self-directed and reliable; you can own a project without being micromanaged.

Nice to Have

  • Prior internship or project experience in product, ops, or a startup.
  • Exposure to compliance, construction, energy, or other physical industries.
  • Basic technical literacy (SQL, APIs, or comfort working with engineers).

Benefits

  • $25/hour.
  • Hybrid culture with our NYC Union Square office (3 days/week).
  • Strong path to a return offer as we scale.
