About the role

Essentially, I'm looking for someone who has a clear viewpoint on what good technical writing looks like. And you're also comfortable building scalable AI systems around it. You're a writer and an engineer.

- Our job is to distill our human knowledge into a replicable system.

- If there was one quality that mattered most, it would be attention to detail/obsession with quality.

- Remote work, salary up to $200K/yr based on location.

First 30 days: you'd own one customer end-to-end and tighten our internal pipeline. Today, it takes us 3.5 days to ship a good blog post. The goal is one day, without dropping quality. We own documentation and long-form technical content for our customers.

The ideal person builds their own agents for fun and writes a lot of content/docs for developers. Experience with GEO and Developer Marketing is a +++

I started off as a DevRel before building Manicule, and I’m looking for a similar person to join us. I believe the only way to make AI good at something is to be the best at it yourself first:)

About Manicule

Manicule is trying to solve a problem most people have given up on: getting AI to write well.

Everyone can get a model to produce words, but it feels so empty. Almost no one can get it to produce writing with a point of view, a logically sound structure, and a unique tone.

We want to solve these problems at scale. That means turning the judgment of strong writers into something repeatable that an AI can actually run on. Part of the work is engineering: prompts, evals, the harness around them. Part of it is editorial taste. Most of the work is experimentation, because nobody has the answers yet, and the frontier moves every few weeks.

We also think the audience for writing is changing. More and more, what we produce is read by agents as much as by people, and we're already working on catering to them.

We're small, we hire rarely, and people stay. If the idea of teaching a machine to write the way you'd want to read excites you more than it worries you, we should talk.
