About the role
MorphoAI (YC + ARIA-backed, $6M+ pre-seed). I’m Ayna, I build 2 hardware companies before (last one is at Series B). My co-founder Andrew Spielberg is a professor of electrical engineering and robotics at Carnegie Mellon.
We’re building hardware foundation models that enable generation of manufacturing ready designs across a variety of hardware: robotics, aerospace, data centers, power equipment, and more. We're bringing to life 40+ papers written by the team at MIT and Harvard (differentiable simulation, gen-AI design, optimization co-design) to enable mechanical engineers to build more hardware designs. We're a team of 9 (2 MIT PhD; Forbes u30; serial founders; and much of our team comes from deploying hardware at Amazon Robotics), already doubled this year and looking to grow the team.
I'm hiring for a chief of staff, who will work directly with me on being a jack of all trades: strategy, ops, sales and marketing, whatever if the highest leverage thing for the business in that moment. The role is a little bit of everything, and you’ll see how decisions are made at the top. London based, in person with our team.

We are obsessed with technical problems and much as we are obsessed with customer problems. Our application areas are currently including robotic system integration, lab automation, industrial manufacturing, and dexterous manipulation. Founded by A prof. of robotics at Carnegie Mellon University and a serial founder. The founding team has MIT PhDs, Forbes u30, Harvard MBAs, and the team has worked at Amazon Robotics, Disney, and in CAD previously. We have an office in New York and London.
