Operations Associate (Full-Time, In-Office – Los Angeles) Salaried | Full-Time | Early Mornings OK

Superunit is a Y Combinator-backed startup using AI voice and email agents to automate employment verifications. We're growing quickly and looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Operations Associate to join us full-time in our LA office.

This is a great fit for someone with administrative, sales, or production assistant experience who wants to get in early with a high-growth startup.

What You'll Do

Call employers to verify job details
Monitor tools that flag verifications needing human review
Research and track down contact info to unblock stuck verifications
Communicate status updates to the leadership team
Follow up with clients as needed
Suggest product or process improvements based on what you see

What We're Looking For

2+ years in an admin, ops, or sales support role
Super high attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Quick learner with excellent focus and follow-through
Strong people skills and clear, confident communicator (phone and email)
Critical thinker who can spot patterns and propose improvements
Comfortable starting early (around 7am PST on some days)
Available to work in our LA office full-time

About Superunit

Superunit is building the AI verification layer for hiring, lending, and leasing. We use AI voice and email agents to automate employment, income, reference, and tenancy verifications — work that's historically been done by call centers, paper trails, and a lot of hold music.

Our customers are background screening companies (CRAs), mortgage lenders, and tenant screening firms. We're already powering verifications for some of the largest CRAs in the industry. The team is small, hands-on, and biased toward shipping. If you want to work on a real problem with real customers, real revenue, and real urgency this is a good place to be.

We're based in Los Angeles and work in-office.
